Music is in my blood. My grandmother, Irene, a micro-famous singer from the Big Band Era, met her husband, Ted Gordon—leader of the Detroit Police Band—when he caught her during a dramatic stage entrance, preventing her from falling off the stage.

Raised in a musically rich family, my passion for music began early. Before I could even speak, my family taught me to sing our college fight song. My first musical love was the soulful R&B of Boyz II Men, while my father introduced me to the energetic spirit of rock music during nightly basement dance sessions.

By the age of seven, I discovered that music was my greatest joy—a platform that allowed me to feel, express my emotions, and connect with the world around me.

My performance journey began in my youth, studying trumpet and guitar before founding a punk rock band as a bassist at 15 years old. Over the next decade, I developed versatility as a guitarist, bassist, and lead vocalist in various bands. One of my most memorable achievements was winning a songwriting contest with a song I wrote to honor my mother’s 50th birthday—a track that earned a spot on a compilation alongside icons like Cat Power and Joni Mitchell.

Becoming a wedding DJ was never part of my plan. However, when a friend challenged me to DJ their wedding in 2006, I discovered an unexpected passion for curating diverse playlists and creating magical moments on the dance floor. Quickly, my life’s true calling unfolded. I discovered my innate ability to help others to celebrate.

DJ, MC, Singing, Guitar, Lighting, Decor, Vibe Curation etc… I’ve developed so many great tools to bring my clients’ dreams to life. I can’t wait to discover together how we will celebrate your lives and love!
