He had a few curveballs to deal with (me forgetting my ring, the officiant doing the cues out of order, last-minute changes of plans) and he seamlessly rolled with the punches. Brandon doesn't play games, he was SERIOUS about creating the perfect vibe at our wedding and we were so grateful for it. We met with him and he went over a document of everything we'd like him to do or not do. He asked us to create 3 playlists, one for "must plays", another for "special songs" and another with just general songs we liked. We also told him we wanted a vibe that would keep our friends (all in their 20s-30s) and our parents (in their 60s) dancing all night, and he absolutely succeeded. I don't think there was a single person at our wedding that stopped dancing from 8pm to midnight. We also got the photobooth package, which was another huge hit. Brandon and team provide a photobooth that also takes videos in between each photo, creating a small GIF. This was such a hit with guests! After the wedding, Brandon shared an email with us outlining some of the moments he liked best from our wedding, and we just thought that was such a special and nice touch. From the very beginning, he made the process easy and enjoyable with guided calls, walking us through each step of creating the perfect playlists. Brandon and his team worked closely with us in the months leading up to the wedding to make sure the day was perfect. We met multiple times prior and he was very eager to learn our musical preferences and vision for the tone of the event. He supplied all the needed audio equipment and was able to provide simple, beautiful acoustic music for our ceremony. His skills as musician, MC, & DJ were on point all night. During the reception, he played pre selected songs as well as music he selected himself to fit perfectly into the mood we wanted to create. He was attentive to the crowd and made on the fly playlist adjustments to keep the energy levels up on the dance floor, as we requested. Brandon was prompt and well communicated for all pre wedding meetings as well as on the day of the event. He was a very low stress vendor, which we greatly appreciated. My wife Allison and I hired Brandon to DJ at our wedding at the Oakland zoo in July 2018, and he was an absolute pleasure to work with! He was super communicative, incredibly helpful in both helping us structure our reception and in helping us organize all things musically-related for each segment of the reception. He sat down with us and helped organize our thoughts regarding music for the dinner portion of the reception, and then for the dancing afterwards. We had a Jewish ceremony, so he also led the group in the chair dance and dancing the hora. Throughout the entire night, he kept the energy up and kept the party going late into the night, everyone had a really great time. We can’t recommend Brandon more highly!
